am i the only one that sees it? probly, cuz no one would expect it, thats why its a huge part of it, cuz people would refuse to see it so they get away with it. i mean, what im talking about is, here we've got BEAUTIFUL houses that you can build for practically nothing, aside from the cost of land. yet no one knows about it, the damn groups that are promoting it charge outrageous sums to learn about it ie groups like Yestermorrow in Vermont, if people really wanted to change the world, theyd do it through natural building, it brings communitys together, its free, its fun, its mind bogglingly easy to do, some people specialize in making it seem harder than it is...but thats something else, or is it? see, why would the gov not want ridiculously cheap housing? think of how much money banks make off ridiculously expensive homes...add on profit from interest, times it by millions of families...its all about the money, and its deeper than that too, if people start joining together and working as community, helping each other eat, sleep, live, have fun, well then people will see that all they need is eachother, that they dont need stop and shop or wal marts, or even government, that all we need is eachotehr, nature, and an understanding of equilibrium. government doesnt want that...they want happy little slaves who dont know what they are, this is a theory i could never prove it, factually except through logic, (1+1=2) i understand but its important to remain ever suspicious, these guys and girls have no mercy, no idea between right/wrong, now think for yourself.

Re: cia and mind control in the green building "movement"?
Tue, January 1, 2008 - 5:48 PMBack away from the Kool-Aid. I'm not disagreeing with some of your fundamental hypotheses, however not the CIA, or any other right wing cabal. Just good old fashioned greed. It cuts across party/philosophical lines. The trick is to be the answer. Think any of the groups "teaching" these techniques are charging too much; charge less. See what happens. True change occurs on an individual level which is why grass roots movements work, unfortunately they work slowly (usually). -

Fri, January 4, 2008 - 10:04 PMyah i figured thats what it was, just a slower moving grass roots movement, i'm just used to the movement of the underworld, which is fast...really fast, sorry you misunderstood, that this is something that COULD move VERY fast, cheap, to FREE housing....that is, sorry if you guys dont understand how fast people can change the whole world...fuck you and your kool aid, i'm gonna show you how shit isDONE. peace and all that stupid shit you think you believe in... -

Well have fun existing in your own little paranoid delirium, just do the rest of us a favor and stay in your parents basement until this phase passes. -

Re: the green building movement is slow
Sun, January 13, 2008 - 4:50 AMYeah I was wrong OBVIOUSLY "da MAN" is keeping us all down it's all part of some plan by a cabal of secret societies who really run the "Gubmint" . Whatever, I did not disagree with his ideas about the plausibility of green building, just the conspiracy theory nut-job part about it being a CIA/government plot. -

Re: the green building movement is slow
Mon, January 14, 2008 - 7:59 PManyway........................there are many ways to make a green building. the solution, i suppose, is to mix it up. ie. cob, straw bale, rammed earth, timber frame, stone work, a little of everything. create a new style. a new wave of everything. simplify

Re: cia and mind control in the green building "movement"?
Wed, January 30, 2008 - 11:55 PMCan you explain "houses that you can build for practically nothing"
I suspect my "practically nothing" is nothing like your "practically nothing"
"the enemy" here is the local government authority that has a mind set and lacks the skills to evaluate alternate designs.
